The Mid-Atlantic Umpire Academy advertises "a complete, comprehensive 2-man program designed and taught by top amateur umpires for amateur umpires." The academy takes place July 15-19, 2009, at the Virginia Sports Complex in Ruther Glen, Virginia (20 miles North of Richmond). Tuition is $350 and includes lunch and camp t-shirt.
